Class of 82
I know there are quite a few more likely candidates, but with Mike Thomas now the AD at Illinois, does anybody else think KD at least makes their discussion list of potential candidates for new basketball coach? If I'm them, I go all-out after Butler's Brad Stevens.
Ham
He knows Shaka too?
burrdie
At least last year Brad said he and his wife, especially his wife, like where they are and not interested in moving the family. I have wondered why KD has not been looking. On Monday's show he kept talking about the being a home town guy and all the past and present friends he has. Hard to believe he would leave. By the way Bradley is doing very bad this year. Maybe leaving Can't was not such a good idea haha I know there are quite a few more likely candidates, but with Mike Thomas now the AD at Illinois, does anybody else think KD at least makes their discussion list of potential candidates for new basketball coach? jupitertoo
Thomas might view Dambrot as too much of an Akron guy, but you never know. And KD might be perfectly comfortable finishing his career out in Akron over the next 7-10 years. Shaka would be an excellent choice. Some speculation Groce might get a look, too, though lack of a MAC regular season title might play against him.

Until......TOMORROW NIGHT.....I hope.

Carol says the Butler coach is happy there, and I think she's right. But we're talking serious upgrade in cash. That would be really, really hard for anyone to forgo. Anyways, hope KD stays right where he is. Just think it would be an honor to him for his name to at least enter the conversation. He has to be one of the best coaches most people around the country have even heard of.
