I guess I don't pay enough attention to which school are playing in what event, but it seems like some the power schools had been playing in the same events every year (or a lot more than once every four years). Division 1 schools can not play in the same multi-team event twice over a four-year period, but any school may participate in a MTE every season if it so chooses. Up to four games in one MTE counts as a single game within the 28 game season maximum. Net result is you can play a total of 31 games per season if you schedule a four game MTE. Quote
