fknbuflobo
Unless I am mistaken, you can no longer re-enter the park. So, bear that in mind if you take a peek at the Women's squad tonight.

Unless they've added more bathrooms inside, they have to let you leave. Does anyone know the situation on this before we get blindsided by a new policy? Does anyone know the situation on this before we get blindsided by a new policy? I don't know the re-entry policy, but there are plenty of restrooms now. Both men's and both women's restrooms are open. They were all open for much of last season, but re-entry was still allowed.

Does anyone know the situation on this before we get blindsided by a new policy? The "no re-entry" is a horrible policy, how expensive are stamps? This is the norm under Tom Wistrcill's regime. The worst was the idea to charge people $10 to park in tailgating lots for football games that hardly anyone goes to. It probably wont be long before they start charging to park for soccer games. I'm not a fan of their decision to make the west goal end reserved seating. The entire section was empty on Wednesday with around 1,600 people at the game. A reserved ticket cost $25 more per season ticket and those seats are not very good. The east bleachers are general admission and a lot better. I wouldn't be surprised if we see games with the east bleachers and grass areas overcrowded while the west bleachers are empty. The main grandstand could use another expansion, it sells out every year.

I have to admit, I have walked to the Exchange bars on several occassions with my wife, at halftime of soccer games. The "no re-entry" policy would put a stop to that. And yet we cannot purchase beer at the concession. They would be smart to ditch this rule before it even starts. A whole list of problems comes along with alcohol sales. They enforced the "no re-entry" rule Wednesday, and then they opened only one concession window. In a crowd of 1600+, the line did not deplete until 15 minutes into 2nd half. Ridiculous! Jalapeño Zippy
Has anyone asked the AD? I believe there is a button on GoZips.com
bobbyake
I don't think there's any tailgating plans for today with the women's game at 5. I wonder what the attendance record is for the women's team, maybe it can be broken today if people show up early for the men's game. We might get a crowd in the 2,000's considering there were 1,600 for a Wednesday pre-season game being played during the US v Mexico and Crew v LA games. Zip_ME87
My understanding from the Zips' ticket office is that there is a NO re-entry policy for soccer games this season since the restrooms are complete. I never noticed if the policy is posted at the gates, but it should be since it is a significant change.
bobbyake
we'll have to get all of the drinking in while tailgating. At least we have lot 9 for free with no hassles.

I didn't notice Wednesday night, but it doesn't matter to me. I've only ever left at the half to use the restrooms at the Student Union. Zipmeister
Today you may get to watch some Zips play who will never get in another match this year.
fknbuflobo
OK. I do not really want to ask this, but who knows the nature of Alfred Koroma's injury?
ZachTheZip
OK. I do not really want to ask this, but who knows the nature of Alfred Koroma's injury? My best guess is a hyperextended knee. I know he left on crutches to go to the hospital at halftime, and did not put any weight on the injured leg. He was not wearing any medical equipment that I saw; no air cast or wrap or anything. They didn't even take his shoes off, and that's a good sign.
