Hilltopper
Addison Spruill One of Nyles Evans teammates. Addison Spruill of Brevard CC weighing multiple offers If anyone has a D1 ready body, it’s Spruill. He is extremely strong with the ball and is able to use his big frame to play though contact and finish at the rim. He is averaging 16 points and 6 rebounds per game this season. Spruill played very well last summer at the All-American JUCO Showcase Elite 80 and made the Top 20 All-Star Game at the event.
GoZips
I like him already. He bears a resemblance to our much loved Tree.
Blue & Gold
Addison Spruill One of Nyles Evans teammates. Addison Spruill of Brevard CC weighing multiple offers @ the 3:20 mark of the second video you can see Nyles either sprain or re-sprain that ankle that gave him trouble during the last 2 games of the season. He's hopping on one foot when the buzzer sounds.
Dave in Green
If Middle Tennessee is interested in Spruill, he's probably talented enough to earn PT with the Zips. He's ranked #66 in the country by jucorecruiting.com, so it would be similar to getting a top 100 HS recruit. Apparently UNCW is intriguing to Spruill as it would allow him to play college ball about 20 miles from his home and family.
Dave in Green
Based on the fact that Coach Dambrot has now said there's a 95 percent chance of Q returning, I'm guessing that talk about potential additions like Spruill will fade. With Abreu gone, Q back, Nyles Evans added and all other scholarship players returning, the Zips will have 14 players vying for 13 scholarships. I.e., Justice and/or Ibitayo.
