Zipmeister
You forgot to add some type of important statistics in your post. I know you can do better than that on your next one. I believe you have me confused with DIG. A mistake at which we both take offense.
johnnyzip84
If the Zips wind up no better than most of these prognostications indicate, THIS GUY thinks TB could lose his job. I this will be a moot point, because I expect enough improvement in the win column (at least 4) to get the momentum turned around. Honestly, I'd like to think the seat is a little hot. I think this staff is motivated by pressure.

And here we all thought we were getting hosed on the scheduling by Buffalo's absence.

I think this staff is motivated by pressure. If they win three, would you keep Bowden? Mind you, even if they go winless, UA will not buy out Bowden's contract. My concern is that while there has been "some" progress in procuring talent, the Zips lost their single most prolific offensive threat (QB). And if Pohl gets hurt, then all bets are off. ZachTheZip
If they win three, would you keep Bowden? Triple the win total, against a tougher schedule than last year? Absolutely.
zestycoyote
Anyone who thinks Bowden is on the hot seat after this upcoming season is crazy. I don't care if he wins 1 or 2 games—if you think this program was in a position to turn into a competitor within 2 season, you need to take a big step back. Ianello set back this program 10 years, an amazingly bad accomplishment, and it's going to take more than a couple years to catch Northern Illinois, Toledo, etc. (i.e. teams that have been playing good ball for a while). Exactly. You dont go from an average D2 team, to competing for MAC titles in two years. I think Bowden has done a remarkable job of upgrading the talent and setting a path for taking the program to new heights in just one season and two off season. I cant imagine what this staff will be able to do once they start winning games. I pray the leadership of the university is smart enough to see this. I hope they get this turned around and build a solid foundation.

johnnyzip84
Check out Can't's helmets and one big surprise... Nothing against Anthony Lauro, but I almost quit watching when he was listed as the key UA recruit of 2013. His prediction for MAC West champion isn't "by the book", but with Wenning back at QB (I was obviously wrong about this) and Lembo getting settled in as HC it's not as big of a stretch as it sounds IMHO. I know Ball State is no slouch, but I will be shocked if they can knock off the Huskies. Don't you think Can't's helmet color is a little off? That's not regular piss yellow, more like a dehydrated piss yellow.

I agree the Cardinals will have a difficult time wnning in Dekalb, BUT they could conceivably lose that game and still win the division. Are you talking about the helmets K.E.N.T. was using in spring drills? Is it that much different than the ones they used against A-State (and one or 2 others I think) in 2012? In the video, the pants appear to be #3 while the helmets are closer to #4.
