ZachTheZip
The MAC football media day is coming up in a few weeks and, as they do every year, the MAC's media cartel will be voting on how they think the divisions will finish. I think they'll vote the MAC East as: Ohio Can't State Bowling Green Miami Buffalo Akron UMass They'll be wrong, of course, because they are wrong every single year. But that's how I see them voting. johnnyzip84
I'll take it one more step. I'll predict that 'Meister will predict that the MAC media will predict the following: MAC East Bowling Green Ohio Miami K.E.N.T. Akron Buffalo UMass MAC West NIU Toledo Ball St WMU CMU EMU Bowling Green over NIU in Championship Game
UAZipster0305
I don't know about the rest of the league, but I think we finish above UMass, Buffalo, and Miami. Though we lost just as many games last year, the improvement was tremendous. I expect that to continue this year and think we will end up with 4-6 wins. As GP1 says, it is the MAC and other teams will try to give away a couple wins every season. A disciplined team like the one Coach Bowden is building will be prepared to seize such opportunities. The table will be turned on the "Snatching Defeat from the Jaws of Victory" mantra that we have all become too accustomed.

After all, this is the MAC and anything can happen.
Zipmeister
I'll take it one more step. Akron Buffalo UMass MAC West NIU Toledo Ball St WMU CMU EMU Bowling Green over NIU in Championship Game You are wrong Ol Football Breath Swami. In a stunning departure from precedent the media will, instead of predicting last year's final standings will be repeated, come up with the following prognostication: MAC East Ohio Bowling Green K.E.N.T. Miami Buffalo Akron UMass MAC West Toledo NIU Ball St WMU (tie) CMU (tie) EMU Toledo over Ohio in Championship Game
GP1
I'm not sure how the MAC media will pick the league, but I'm pretty certain the national media will pick it in the exact order it finished last year.
ZachTheZip
I'm not sure how the MAC media will pick the league, but I'm pretty certain the national media will pick it in the exact order it finished last year. There's the media that covers the MAC, and then there's the MAC News Media association. The MACNMA is who votes at media day, and it consists almost entirely of old newspaper beat reporters who wish they were covering the Big Ten. Elton Alexander is in charge of it.
