fknbuflobo Posted September 9, 2013 Report Posted September 9, 2013 I run the risk of hyperbole, so, somebody please stop me. With RPI-laden results vs. UNM and UMD, the VCU match will go a long way in gauging the success of the Zips 2013 season. Who knew VCU was going to be this dangerous? I certainly did not. They are hot! Zips must finish their chances Friday! http://vcuathletics.com/sports/msoc/index Quote
TennZip Posted September 10, 2013 Report Posted September 10, 2013 the zips definitely need a signature win. A huge crowd is needed... Talk about not finishing chances.....VCU in their first game played UAB...VCU lead 15-2 in corner kicks and 12-8 in shots and UAB defeated VCU 4-0. VCU must be given a lot of credit for putting that game in the past and posting impressive results against the Lobos and the Terps Quote
Dave in Green Posted September 10, 2013 Report Posted September 10, 2013 When you're Akron and you have one soccer loss, every remaining match is critical. Quote
fknbuflobo Posted September 10, 2013 Author Report Posted September 10, 2013 Victor Souto may want to pay attention to #24 Devon Fisher. http://www.vcuathletics.com/sports/msoc/20...sher_devon_8q0f Quote

I sure hope some of them postpone their drive until Saturday morning, but with the early start, everyone I know is going up there on Friday. Quote

icchamp1 Posted September 11, 2013 Report Posted September 11, 2013 I'm going to the VCU game on Friday night. Leaving at 5 am Saturday for Ann Arbor, and will be at the soccer game on Sunday. Some of us are cheap. Quote

fknbuflobo Posted September 11, 2013 Author Report Posted September 11, 2013 My preferred lineup: ....Stevenson.......Seremba...... .................Brenes................... ........Quinn.........Najem........... .................Souto.................... .Derschang...........Abdul-Salaam .........Souders...Gallego........... ...................Pina..................... I want Robbie Derschang to return to old form. He needs to get to the end line and serve that left-footed cross into the box, on the spot. Quote

Z.I.P. Posted September 11, 2013 Report Posted September 11, 2013 The American football game is being broadcast on Big (League that Can't Count) TV. At 6 AM Saturday, HST. The drive is just too long (and wet) for me! Go Zips -- Wreck Havoc! Quote
Z.I.P. Posted September 14, 2013 Report Posted September 14, 2013 Whoa. That does NOT look good. We better get a win to cheer up fknbuflobo. Quote
