akzipper Posted October 19, 2013 Report Posted October 19, 2013 Sorry but that was a touchdown. Bickley was leaning forward across the goal line when the ball came out. Quote
Dave in Green Posted October 19, 2013 Report Posted October 19, 2013 Three straight drives into the red zone = two Bickley fumbles + one missed Stein FG. Ya gotta score to win. Quote
Big Zip Posted October 19, 2013 Report Posted October 19, 2013 You have to sit Bickley down in the second half. You can't keep him in the game if he is going to fumble. This is how a team who on a losing streak continues to lose. Quote
Zipgrad1990 Posted October 19, 2013 Report Posted October 19, 2013 Sorry but that was a touchdown. Bickley was leaning forward across the goal line when the ball came out. I agree it was one of those calls that would not be overruled if a touchdown was called either. Another game where we play down to the competitition. Quote
lance99 Posted October 19, 2013 Author Report Posted October 19, 2013 The Zips should be up 21-7. Two bad, bad fumbles would do that. Quote
Zipsrifle Posted October 19, 2013 Report Posted October 19, 2013 Sounds like TB has got them moving... Quote
LZIp Posted October 19, 2013 Report Posted October 19, 2013 Refreshing to see Chisholm hit the hole Quote
Dave in Green Posted October 19, 2013 Report Posted October 19, 2013 Should be 24-7. College FG kickers are expected to hit from 39 yards. Zips have to develop confidence from being able to consistently drive the ball into the red zone against a poor defense and learn to finish off those drives. There's still no good reason why the Zips can't take control of this game. Quote
akzipper Posted October 19, 2013 Report Posted October 19, 2013 Very good drive for the Zips. I like the fact that they went right back to Bickley. Need to give him a chance to redeem himself. Yes it should definitely be 24-7, but this season has been filled with "Should-haves." Time to start getting it DONE. Can the defense make a stop? we'll see... Quote
Dave in Green Posted October 19, 2013 Report Posted October 19, 2013 Another three and out for the sweaters. Zips need to continue taking advantage of a tiring Miami defense. This is what winners do to losers. Quote
lance99 Posted October 19, 2013 Author Report Posted October 19, 2013 Now can can they keep their foot on their throats? Quote
Zipsrifle Posted October 19, 2013 Report Posted October 19, 2013 Now can can they keep their foot on their throats? Yes, need to stop this Miami drive and get some more points! Quote
ZachTheZip Posted October 19, 2013 Report Posted October 19, 2013 Is it just me, or does ESPN3 suck? It's just you. It's working perfectly for me. Quote
LZIp Posted October 19, 2013 Report Posted October 19, 2013 I never knew lining up correctly was so hard Quote
Dave in Green Posted October 19, 2013 Report Posted October 19, 2013 Time to put it out of reach. Quote
Dave in Green Posted October 19, 2013 Report Posted October 19, 2013 Zips could still lose if they play like losers. Quote
Zipsrifle Posted October 19, 2013 Report Posted October 19, 2013 One thing I hate about listening on the Radio is that I can never tell how close these calls are. There have been multiple times the calls have been "Obvious" but have gone the other way. Quote
Zipsrifle Posted October 19, 2013 Report Posted October 19, 2013 I'm having flashbacks of the game what...12 years ago....UGH! Quote
Dave in Green Posted October 19, 2013 Report Posted October 19, 2013 Just recover one onside kick for the win. Quote
