I know this isn't much of a topic, but just thought it's interesting each season to see what MAC school has the most competitive men's and women's basketball programs.

WBB has really stepped it up over the past couple of years! I went to the game on Sunday, and I actually find the Lady Zips to be more fun to watch then the men. I know, that might seem like a sacrilege but when the Lady Zips are down, I don't feel nervous. Every time the Zip are I am.

Fast paced game, lots of offense, really fun basketball to watch! Now...if only we can get them both to win the MACT...how exciting would that be!?

Jeff Goodman picks the Mens Toledo basketball team in his Fab 50 for next season.

Gone: Rian Pearson, Matt Smith

Returning: Julius Brown, Justin Drummond, J.D. Weatherspoon, Nathan Boothe,Jonathan Williams, Jordan Lauf, Zach Garber

Coming in: SG Andre Applewhite (Mississippi State transfer), G Stuckey Mosley, F Kurt Hall, PG Kamau Stokes

Key Riser: Jonathan Williams -- Look for the freshman guard to slide into the starting lineup and replace Pearson. Williams should become one of the team's leading scorers.

Analysis: The Rockets won a school-record 27 games, and Todd Kowalczyk brings back just about everyone except for Pearson. Juice Brown is the star, but he has help from Drummond, Weatherspoon and there's also size up front with Boothe.

Summer Buzz: Toledo has four scholarships in the Class of 2015 and will go after a couple of big men, a point guard and the best available player it can get with the final one.

If you include rifle results in with these it's no contest.
