per rivals preview N.C. State: Coach Chuck Amato is not at all pleased with the play of his defense going into this Saturday's scrimmage. He was especially displeased with their performance in the goal-line drills. that's what i like to hear!

NC State is a team that I know Akron can win against. Especially if we beat Penn State. I think Getsy, Arthur, and Kennedy will tear apart their defense. Akron's defense is supposed to be the team's strength, and that is saying something with an offense like ours. I just worry about special teams. They could be the deciding factor in our tougher games like NC State.

right now im concenred about our own team. with allen going out we have no depth at rb.if kennedy goes out then what? i think our fb was a tb in high school so maybe that will help,and three wideouts?

I'd say this is our best shot to knock off a "name" program. If ever there was an opportunity, this would be it.
