ZachTheZip Posted April 27, 2015 Report Posted April 27, 2015 Looks like a late commit for 2015.ScoutRivalsHudl Quote
KentZip Posted April 27, 2015 Report Posted April 27, 2015 This looks like a good addition. I was surprised at his blocking ability on the Hudl video. Quote
Balsy Posted April 27, 2015 Report Posted April 27, 2015 TE has been a huge focus in the offseason. I don't remember seeing hardly any TE designed plays...is it likely because we haven't seen the entire offense or is the TE being brought in for extra protection on a QB scramble? Quote
Dr Z Posted April 27, 2015 Report Posted April 27, 2015 I don't remember seeing hardly any TE designed plays.Woodson to Ritossa 10 yard TD in the BSU game. Video.Pohl to Ritossa 15 yard TD pass in the EMU game. Video.Ritossa is only used in the Red Zone when the Zips wear gold helmets. 1 Quote
Balsy Posted April 27, 2015 Report Posted April 27, 2015 Ritossa is only used in the Red Zone when the Zips wear gold helmets. Whoops...I should have specified the spring game... Quote
K92 Posted April 27, 2015 Report Posted April 27, 2015 Unless there is a drastic change in philosophy, I am confused about bringing in more TE's.In 2014, Anthony Ritossa caught 6 passes and Jerome Lewis chipped in with 3 receptions. Not exactly Tony Gonzalez and Shannon Sharpe. The four TE's on the roster now seems like plenty, but we shall see. . . Quote
ZachTheZip Posted April 27, 2015 Author Report Posted April 27, 2015 If we're going for the "one read" offense, we'll need as many big targets as we can get. Quote

Maybe if he could drop to <220 lbs he could be a handful at WR?I guess time will tell...welcome to Akron, Johnnie. Quote
ZachTheZip Posted April 28, 2015 Author Report Posted April 28, 2015 I believe that this counts toward Bowden's "transfers" he mentioned were coming over the summer. While most people tend to separate players coming from JUCOs from players coming from a D-I school, coaches almost always refer to them as transfers or JUCO transfers. Quote
