Z.I.P. Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 "Kwan Cheatam, the most NBA-ready body on their team." Absolutely the fact! When will this board understand that reality? Kwan ain't no '4', so stop expecting him to play like one! Quote
Balsy Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 We gotta start making shots. Villanova went on a 15 point run. Quote
LZIp Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 Good effort in the 1st half; might have blew our wad tough. Live by the three...Regardless of the outcome, this team seems to be more talented than any other I've seen under KD. 1 Quote

Live by the three...Regardless of the outcome, this team seems to be more talented than any other I've seen under KD.I dont think theyve blown their wad. They knock down a couple of those shots and it looked like they werent as good defensively as they were the first 10-12 minutes. Go hard at them. Get the upset. Dont worry about foul trouble but dont play sloppy. This game could put us in the tourney with a win. Quote
ziptrumpet87 Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 Villanova getting to the line and making them is the difference in the first half. Quote
Zipgrad01 Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 This is the type of game where we need Noah. Antino is turning the ball over way too much obviously. Quote

LZIp Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 We are killing ourselves by tipping the ball out on rebounds instead of just grabbing the damn thing. Quote
lance99 Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 Looks like they are in another one of their patented scoreless streaks...... Quote
LZIp Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 Antino got body checked, and is probably hurt. I cannot believe that wasn't called a foul. Quote
Balsy Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 Antino got body checked, and is probably hurt. I cannot believe that wasn't called a foul.I can...it's the Zips and they're playing Villanova. The Zips haven't scored more than 1 point in the past, almost 10, game minuets. Quote
novachap Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 hi folks, I really like your team. Really strong, great shooters, very well coached and no fear. I was nervous about this one.. The difference so far I think is depth and we're able to run a lot more folks in at you. We do wear folks down. Glad the game is at nova as i would imagine it would be tighter at your gym. Quote
gozips19 Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 (edited) Anyone listening on the radio hear what's up with Pat? Hasn't played hardly in the 2nd half and not sure if he's even on the bench. I agree with Zipgrad about Noah. Really missed in a game like this. Thier guards are legit! akronzips71 Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 Do my eyes deceive me or did they burn Utomi's red shirt in the last two minutes? Quote
zippy_ua_00 Posted November 22, 2015 Author Report Posted November 22, 2015 (edited) Eh. Just lost to the best team that is favored to win in arguably the best conference in their house at full strength by 19 while we were down to basically 1 PG. We hung with them for a half and for the last 10 min of the 2nd went shor for shot with them. Im very happy with the performance. This is a bracket busting team. dre22era Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 (edited) We played our best ball the first 10 minutes of the game. Played flat the rest of the way. We shot 11-33 3PM-A Villanova shot 9-28I wish Antino Jackson who led the team with 13 points took more shots. It seems like everything fell a part when they slowed down the game focusing on the bigs. Blue & Gold Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 Do my eyes deceive me or did they burn Utomi's red shirt in the last two minutes?Saw that too. Interesting.Coaching staff must be really high on Isaiah Williams coming in next year to burn Utomi's redshirt this year.I hope Utomi gets sufficient minutes to develop & make burning his redshirt worth it. tomzip Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 Let's go get green bay and go 2 and 1on this trip. When is Noah due back? Quote
Blue & Gold Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 I think I just heard in the post game show that Kretzer may have broke a rib. Probably why Utomi's redshirt was burned. Quote
