EVERY SUNY school is named the same way - SUNY Stony Brook, SUNY Binghampton, SUNY Farmingdale etc. New York has a huge State University system, and they are all called SUNY. If it was done the same in Ohio, it would be SUO Akron, SUO Kent, SUO Cleveland etc. And there would be NO The Ohio State University, it would be SUO Columbus. Quote

Isn't there a school named "Buffalo State University? If you were around in 1971, you should know that "Buffalo State" was one of the Zips rivals in the Wyatt Webb era.
