Cowtown
Not sure how many are coming with me, could be anywhere from 3 - 6.So I dont really want to buy tix till game day.My question is if I buy a cheap general admin ticket will I be able to sit with the other hand full of NT fans, or do you guys have those ticket police that enforce where you must sit, ie if I buy an endzone ticket will I be able to sneak over to where my green bretheren are.Thanks.GMG
Bleacher Bum
I'm pretty sure the visitor's section is all general admission. Here's a seating chart to give you a better idea. They blocked off a lot of the seats this year, so I don't know what it's really going to be like.Seating Chart
Cowtown
Thanks,I cant believe the university put the Family section right next to the visitors section.Although we (NT Fans) are generally a very easy going, jovial bunch, many that visit our stadium are jackasses, and I wouldn't want my kiddo hearing the things they say...or the sort of horrible things that come from my mouth when I get my hackles up.Oh and if you think your staduim sucks, have a look at the tin can. The old architecture is ok, but the distance from the stands to the field is just awful.See y'all on Sat.Go Mean Green!Fouts Field

Cowtown
I am looking forward to meeting you guys. What is the local brew most of y'all drink on game day?And are there any regional foods I should try out?To be honest this is the farthest north I will ever have gone. So I am really just an ignorant Texan when it comes to your part of the world.I think we have y'all down here next year, and I hope many of you make the trip. You will certainly enjoy our BBQ, TexMex, hospitality and our beautiful North Texas scenery...

Things start filling up around 3pm. Look for a white EZ up tent next to a green F-150 with the license plate ZIPS FAN and you'll find me. We'll be playing corn hole...lots of beer...and our tailgate food theme for this week is Texas Bar-B-Que. Feel free to stop by and rate its authenticity. The best local beer to drink, if you like good beer, is from Great Lakes Brewing Company. Anything from them is excellent. If you like light lagers, the Dortmunder Gold is very good. Try the Elliot Ness if you like a fuller-flavored brew. These beers can be found at the "better" local grocery stores (not likely at the corner gas station). This is the first game under the new AD's regime, so we don't yet know the "Nazi-ism" regarding seating. If the past 20 years are any indication, you'll be able to sit wherever you'd like regardless of what your tiket says. Sneak in a flask if that's your thing.I would drive downtown along main street next to the Aeros stadium to check out places to eat and drink. There's a new Irish Bar downtown that recently opened...very big and very nice...you can't miss it, but I forget the name. Several other decent bars...Jillian's, Panini's, 69-Taps are also downtown. There is a BW-3's on campus (Exchange Street) if you like.Any other questions - Just let us know.
