skip-zip
It was disturbing to me to see us getting beat down the field so many times. Penn State's "fast breaks" could have easily produced 5 goals in that game. At the same time, we dominated a good majority of the action. Very strange game. For as talented as NH4 is, (like many FR) he is not always the calmest of characters when the situation dictates. Their 2nd goal is a case in point. I would REALLY like to see JL11 pass the ball a lot more when he is making his deep runs down the side. The one instance when his shot went WAY left of goal, AN10 was WIDE open in front of the net just begging for a chance. This is not the 1st time I've seen that this year. I am really glad to see SH9 get off the schneid for the season. That could be HUGE coming down the stretch and into the tourney. BL1 probably saved the Zips from a likely defeat last night. Hope his confidence can remain in tact for the rest of the season. It looks like we'll need him on the road to come up big time after time. Don't get me wrong - I love having NH4 and JL11 on this team and playing big minutes. I just hope they can work on a few things for their individual improvement and for the sake of the team. Go Zips! Question: Are your referring to NH3 (who is a freshman) or ND4? I think you meant the former, but since they were both playing on the back line, I would like to be clear on your observations. Edit - I completely agree about BL1. He has saved this team on several occasions. Thanks. Edited October 19, 2016 by Zip_ME87

fknbuflobo
Was it not interesting seeing both Hinds and De Vera manning the flanks?

I miss Andrew Souders now more than ever. Can we sneak him back on the field for a few games?

He'd be wearing a Buckeye (boo) jersey these days. Maybe he can coach our back line from the stands next Wednesday.
TennZip
In Nick Hinds defense, he made a beautiful entry pass to Stuart on the 2nd goal. There was Stuart and 4-5 nittany lions in the box and Nick hit a beautiful cross into the box.
