He was in a hole when they put Tommy in and it would have been a bad spot for a turnover. I actually like the limited reps, in meaningful spots in the games, that he gas been getting, but you do more harm to leave him when there is a higher liklihood of failure.

I’m sure Woodson was following a game plan. Hard to argue the results. 20 hours ago, Hilltopper said: On a couple of those deep throws for incompletions we had wide open tight ends cutting across the middle of the field. Woodson needs to quit trying to hit a homerun so often. I liked that we used ut as an opportunity to continue to look for the deep threat. I don't know that we are there yet and hope they practice it all week long. I exoect us to have a lot if success with 10-15 yard oasses against WMU, which will force them to leave less cushion and for us to be able to break a coupke of deep balls. We have to be able to connect on explosive plays against tougher opponents. Also, not sure how well Booker can catch, but we should not throw to Junk. Williams has been pretty sure handed, but he was out for this game.

What the heck is going on with him? Reps might be the short answer. The Zips have a lot of new receivers he is working with. He had surgery in the offseason and just started to throw in June. He didn't get to scrimmage much in the summer. I have heard some people claim there was wind Saturday. Standing on the field, I didn't really feel it though. He's been pretty good at the deep throw throughout his Zips career, I would guess the passing game continues to progress throughout the year. He did not overthrow Wolf on this touchdown.
Dr Z
Twenty-five different Zips recorded tackles Saturday!!? ? I know sophomore lineman Devin Jones, junior linebacker Travonte Junius, & junior defensive back Hugh Cade got in for plays too. That's 28 different defenders? Anybody notice others not listed? CDMac
Just FYI, we (ZNO forum) aren't as online famous as we would like to think. Wife and I showed up the game; we have lot 9 parking pass Walk to first tent: "Where can we find ZNO tailgaters?" [BLANK STARE] "You know, the online zips forum.... zips nation.org...." [CRICKETS] Repeat at 2 other tents... Maybe we just asked the wrong groups but where do y'all set up the ZNO tailgate? Do you have any particular flag/banner that distinguishes the spot as ZNO folk? We'd like to come by next game and introduce ourselves. Edited October 10, 2017 by CDMac 1 2

We'd like to come by next game and introduce ourselves. The percentage of posters in the parking lot is very low. At least posters who would admit being posters. I remember the first time I ventured into Lot 9. By my recollection, my brother-in-law and I made the walk over from our tailgate in Lot 34 to see how the other half lived. I had recently joined the forum and as fortune shined upon me that day, the first person I talk to turns out to be none other than Captain Kangaroo, who introduced me to Dr. Z, ZipsWin!, 2Ball and JZ84. Later on I met ZG01. Add to this a bunch of other guys who aren't posters and the rest is history. I walked over for the rest of 2010 to visit but I needed to get into that lot because I couldn't miss out on that kind of a good time any longer. 2011 was the first year with a Lot 9 pass and my goodness have we had some fun times. I really miss some of the players' familes, though. When the Pohls, Switzers, Caponis, Hundleys, Pauls and Rossis were all kicking it in the lot, it was probably the most fun time ever. CDMac, you might just get bitten by the tailgating bug and get hooked too.
CDMac
Yeah, we’d love to come join in. We met up with some of the other players’ families for a little bit but we had already eaten so we didn’t partake of any grub. Well next home game we’ll try a little harder to locate you clandestine operators.
