In case you missed it, but I don’t think you could have if you’re reading this thread...

That was Wil Trapp’s 1st goal at Crew/MAPFRE Stadium since 2009 in the Ohio high school playoffs.

I have not had time yet to look at the attached 6 minute video

Just an FYI...it's the same one that I posted in the 2018 ZIps Representing the USA thread back on July 16th...

I like the picture here better though ... with his grandparents, Ira and Vicki.

was too lazy to look for the USMNT thread...

UA fans are proud of this pro athlete

DeAndre Yedlin is that rarest of commodity, in sports , in every walk of life.  He is very experienced without being old.  He is not yet in his prime.  Hell Yes; he is a leader for USMNT.

Brooke Tunstall is tweeting and campaigning vigorously for the great Jonathan Lewis to get more playing time

   first tweet:

In his last 5 games, @Jon_lewis710 has a goal and 3 assists and, assuming he plays all of the rest of the game, will have done that in 121 minutes. Maybe @NYCFC needs to give the kid a bit more playing time. #DifferenceMaker #SEAvNYC #USYNT @ZipsMSoc

By contrast to Lewis, Rodney Wallace has one assist this season in over 700 minutes. Yet somehow he's started 8 games for #NYCFC and Lewis hasn't started any. How much longer can @NYCFC keep Wallace ahead of Lewis on the depth chart? #SEAvNYC

I do not claim to follow NYCFC.  But every time I see that team, JLew comes off the bench to positively influence the match.  Instant Impact!

His  training must really suck.  No other explanation for him NOT starting.

1. As the two players that have played every minute of the season for Orange County SC, midfielder Aodhan Quinn and forward Thomas Enevoldsen have been arguably the club’s two most important players in 2018 and they made a key difference in the second half to allow the hosts to claim a point in a 2-2 draw with the Portland Timbers 2 on Wednesday despite a sluggish first half. Quinn recorded a goal and assist, while Enevoldsen moved back into a tie for the league-lead with his 12th goal of the season to equalize with six minutes to go as Orange County’s undefeated streak reached four games.
