Woodside is #1 in passing efficiency all time in the MAC. Lets hope he gets a lot of empty yardage on Saturday. Surprised to see that the Zips have been to the MAC Championship (2005) before the Rockets (2004) have been back according to this article.

100% agree. Every year there's some egregious omission...this year Kyron is the lucky recipient.

 

Hope he uses the Toledo game to show the voters the error of their ways...

I also saw a couple of non Akron fan tweets suggesting that Bowden should have won coach of the year for getting a team who shouldn't  be going to the conference championship there by winning a couple of huge games. This case could be stronger if the Zips pull off the win.

Yeah, I thought Kyron was OUTSTANDING! I didn't see any other CBs that I would have liked more than him.

 

He's fast, good ball skills, always seems to have great leverage/position on the WR, fluid hips, GREAT feet!

 

I agree with you that he's completely overlooked. Good news is, he'll be back next year =)
