it looks as if rasor is a little behind on his rivals facts. the new link shows that hill came to akron last week and is going to uva this week. he also states he's going to uva for 08 no matter what now. tough loss but love the addition of williams. two questions, since he grad in 05 how many years will he get at akron? also with williams coming to akron as a potential rb, what does that mean for Brinson? also does that mean morgan williams is for sure victim of grades? :screwks:

great pick up for the zips. i followed this guys HS career and have talked to him during his time at the prep school. great football player with very good size and speed. he is such an athlete he could play both offense and defense. but i will be glad to see him running for the zips. now lets get him an offensive line that will block.

It looks like Hill would have not been able to play for the Zips next year. He goes to prep school then he is open to any school again. Virginia has turned their backs on prep school kids before. This is better for the Zips let's replace him with somebody who has good grades......

I wonder if he is coming as an RB? Seems like his best position is CB?Edit: Just noticed he apparently selected the Zips due to a desire to play RB. Seems like we will have a solid stable of RB's for 2007?Scout Bio

Then, he decided he wanted to come home and play.''Williams rushed for 1,831 yards and scored 26 touchdowns in his senior year and also was a starting defensive back. Unfortunately that article/blurb was published more because Williams went to Buchtel, not because he is going to Akron. On the bright side, if we get more city-series athletes on the team, we might get more local coverage. The same goes for geting athletes from the Cleveland area; we might get some TV news coverage if there was a bigger presence of Clevelanders on the team. Recruiting locally increases exposure because people want to know how the local boys are doing. Getting a bunch of kids from Florida won't do anything for exposure around here, and the same thing happens with 2/3 of your recruiting class coming from Pennsylvania. On the bright side, we have to be huge in Pittsburgh by now.
