Man it's been awhile since the last update. Chris became a dad for the second time.  And he has a 7-5 record, a 4.16 ERA, 77K's, and a 1.20 WHIP. He has one shutout thus far.

The Jays are 41-35, good for 4th the the ALEast, 10 1/2 games out.

Sorry guys, feeling lazy the last couple months. Got some bad news from the doc. Hoping to catch Chris on the tube this season (playoffs?).

Quote of the day from SportsCenter this morning "Only the Mets can lose a game without throwing a pitch." The Guardians say "Hold my beer." to be continued. lol

Chris is pencilled into the start tomorrow against the Guardians in Cleveland. With the way the Tribe has been gutting itself it should be an easy W.

Tough game against the Guards tonight in CLE. Chris gave up 4 runs in 6 innings to take the loss. Yes the Tribe scored more than that many runs tonight. Of all nights. They’re actually playing toward a .500 record (which might get them into the playoffs.

His next start (last regular season start) is set for August 30 at home vs. Washington to close out the regular season. The Jays fall to 70-59 in the AL East. Good for third place 10 1/2 behind Baltimore.

I see Chris Bassitt is still alive with the Blue Jays. Not sure about JT Brubaker.

Brubaker is on the 15 day DL for the Yankees.
