RowdyZip
Just about to leave on the 2.5 hour trip north, predictions for this game?To think about: Eastern won at home against muffalo, by 13 (the Zips only won by 7 at the JAR).Eastern lost their top scorer for the season to a broken foot in that same game.Line is Zips (-12.5) I see the Zips covering that, and then some.Akron 77EMU

Zips fan
I always worry about away games in the MAC. It seems that every team stumbles at points against teams they shouldn't. I am not too worried about the score as long as the outcome is a W.Here is my prediction:Zips 78 EMU

RowdyZip
RowdyZip...I want to know how you drive to Ypsilanti Michigan in 2.5 hours. Ok...well it took a little closer to 3 than 2.5 cuz we made a bathroom break on the way up and a gas stop on the way back, but I coulda definately made it in 2.5 cuz I don't stop when I road trip. That being said, that was a fun place. BEAUTIFUL facility. NOBODY there. Myself and 4 other rowdies represented well. I think we were louder than the whole place, except for during their run in the second half. 16-4!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
Bleacher Bum
It woulda been quicker if some certain woman didn't have to stop to pee....or should I say Peay?
skip-zip
RowdyZip....Bleacher Bum....I'll hope you guys didn't get tickets. I've never been able to make that trip any faster than 3 hours, even without stopping. And I applaud you guys to making the trip to a road game. I wish more people would do that.Which reminds me....Are you guys forming a group to go to the Toledo game? We'll need the support that night. timmyboy
Thats just sad to have such a nice facility and have noone show up because they arent winning, back in the mid 90's when they were winning champonships i heard u couldnt get a seat to their games. now that their on a slide noone wants to show. Hopefully akron never gets like that!
ziptrumpet87
akron never gets like that! already were... during the Coleman Crawford years. from recollections of the games I attended, I bet avg attendance was similar to EMU's current avg his last year here.Lets hope you are correct on that for the future though! skip-zip
Yes, at the end of the Coleman Crawford era, there were some pretty small crowds in the place. You guys think the lower reserved section has no-shows now? You should have seen it during a few of those years.

Thank God those days are gone.
