a-zip Posted February 2, 2007 Report Posted February 2, 2007 (edited) Anyone have insight towards our kicking situation next year. Are we recruiting kickers? Is Igor OK? Edited September 20, 2024 by a-zip Quote

Captain Kangaroo Posted February 2, 2007 Report Posted February 2, 2007 I think the fact that we have no kickers anywhere on the recruiting radar is evidence Igor's expected to be healthy. Hopefully Stec gets some better snaps and protection too. Kicking was atrocious last season. Quote
Beanie 4 Heisman Posted February 3, 2007 Report Posted February 3, 2007 When Igor kicks he is money, although he does have some minor trajectory issues. His back is not feeling much better. He is still in pain quite often and hastn kicked since the middle of the season when he was trying to see if he could kick with out much pain. There is a kicker that has come to akron from Toledo. The coach there did not release him so therefore he wont be able to be on scholarship this year, but i believe he could play after he sits out a year. someone correct me if im wrong about that rule.
