2007 FOOTBALL SCHEDULE

anybody got anything on this years football schedule?...or are they still messing around?... thought this year they were going to have it by this time...

Here are the four non conference games:Army -- Cleveland Browns Stadium Maybe maybe not.....OSU -- At the ShoeIndiana -- At the Rubber Bowl or maybe not.....The IU fans seem to think they will be home....UConn -- at Uconn.Not sure of the mac games...

I know we play army at the rubber bowl then Ohio State at the shoe, an then we play indiana at the bowl then uconn at their place but im not sure of whoever else we have. they have them on www.gozips.com under the football section an on the right hand side it says future schedules. that shows who they play up until 2010-2011

The schedule is shaping up to be a possible disaster. Army is only willing to play us in Cleveland Stadium (we'll be lucky to get 15,000) and Indiana does not want to come. Within the athletic dept one official says it's a done deal ... Indiana is not coming.Stay tuned.

after ARMY shut us out at home why would they only be willing to play us at Browns stadium?

I think we're gonna be playing Army at Cleveland Browns Stadium, then OSU at the shoe, then Indiana AT INDIANA (Not home!) And UCONN on the road. The only games we get to see at the Rubber Bowl this year will be the MAC games.

As far as the MAC schedule is concerned, they will not release that unitl the end of March or early April. If we get hosed, not having any nc games at home, there should be some people hung up by hteir thumbs.

I think the Army game is the first of the "Patriot Bowl" series (MAC team vs service academy @ Browns stadium... next year is Navy vs Can't State).

I like how Illinois acts like they are doing us a favor by playing us. If they didn't suck so bad I could understand them not want to play here, but come on. Freaking Illinois. Thats like Youngstown state telling Texas "nope, either you play here or we don't play at all" Just drop em and pick up some DIAA school. A win is a win, and last year we didn't have a lot of them.

Balki, it's actually Indiana who's giving us problems, not Illinois. But they both kinda suck, either way.Army at Cleveland Browns' Stadium? Looks like our schedule is gonna suck big-time AGAIN this year!!!But at least we've got a game prior to the OSU game in Cowlumbus. I'd play Army on the road as long as we get a game in before the Suckeyes.

Our schedule had better not be what you guys are saying. We would only have four home game,all late in the year. This time, it is not something that was set up years ago. If we get no OOC home games, heads should roll in the athletic department.

Unless something drastic happens, we will only have four home games next year. Army is thrilled to use the Patriot series as a reason to force the game to be played in the Cleveland market. They get nothing out of coming to the bowl.Mac seems to be systematically alienating all the employees of the athletic dept he has inherited. Hence, you have the poorest athletic marketeer the university has seen in years, 100% turnover in athletic development, and piss poor presentation/entertainment value of most of our televised games. Mac just hired a guy out of Texas El Paso for athletic fundraising who has never done the job. Additionally, he only interviewed this one guy. Even when he had people on his current team who applied for the job, he never gave them the courtesy of a perfunctory interview.Mac has made some good hires and he deserves credit for that. He also has belatedly sign two great coaches in Mitchell and KD while extending the contract of JD, who has potential. These are all good accomplishments, but the morale and sense of vision that was uniformly shared and lived by the athletic dept has been destroyed, which is now showing up more and more. The schedule is an example.Mac deserves watching to see if he can renew a sense of purpose. As for me, and a few employees of his dept, I don't see it coming. I hope I'm wrong.

if you don't get the Indiana game at home...don't play'em..we have the one sacrifice game already...OSU...find somebody from a mid-major...there are plenty who need a game and play a home and home...the f......g Athletic Dept. needs to wake up and realize that the schedule can make or break a season...as in a BOWL game...
