Captain Kangaroo
As the year has progressed, crowds at the JAR have grown. It takes longer and longer to exit the building now-a-days. Conversely, the timing of the post-game interviews seemed to have accellerated? At the A-P game I walked back to my car at the Rt 8 parking deck as fast as humanly possible...and caught only the last 12 seconds of the Dambrot post-game interview. It kinda sucks that the losers who leave the game early are the only ones guaranteed to hear the post-game interviews in their entirety.I sent an email to Hunter and Mack after the game requesting that post-game interviews be delayed 5 additional minutes to allow the fans who attend the games a chance to get back to their vehicles and hear what the coach has to say. As with other suggestions I've forwarded...no reply. I miss Waddell. We'll see if anything was changed. Tonight is the final home game. Hopefully someone keeps the JAR-fans in mind when they arrange the post-game stuff next season.
zip81
They should also stream the post-game interviews on gozips.com.That's a no brainer.
skip-zip
Totally Agree. The way Steve French and Keith Dambrot interact with each other is not only informative, but is sometimes very humorous. I always find myself rushing to the car as well to try to get there to hear the interview. They are a great vehicle for building excitement among the fans, and the biggest fans are the ones at the games.
Blue & Gold
And I'm hoping no one leaves early tonight. Rome & Dru deserve one final standing ovation after we beat BG tonight.
sgm405
No email back from Mack Rhoades? What a shocker...
FearTheRoo
What I have determined is the KD has a bit more control of when the interview portion of the post-game show occurs. They kinda have to stick with what he wants since they don't want to hold him up. there have been times where he came out faster than they expected and other times when he talks a bit more with the guys and Stevie has to stretch a bit.The post game show is streamed on GoZips for those of us who subscribe. Since I travel a lot during the week, I am usually listening/watching over the web. I heard the entire post game show (unfortunately ) after the Miami game this past week. One suggestion: take a small radio to the game. I usually have an earpiece in one ear listening to the radio broadcast. I never miss the post game walking back to the deck 'cause I gots me radio! zip81
One suggestion: take a small radio to the game. Fear...there you go! The winning solution.
Captain Kangaroo
One suggestion: take a small radio to the game.Fear...there you go! The winning solution. Rather than ask 5,000 people to take small radios to the game...start the post-game show 5 minutes later. Is it that much to ask? I can't believe Dambrot can't wait 5 minutes for the fans to get to their cars. Play the stupid "I played sports all through college..." commercial while people walk back to their vehicles, not the coach's post game interview. FearTheRoo
Sure, but you know that the AD and the broadcasters don't seem to care about what the fans want, only what they THINK the fans want. Better to find your own bandaid for the problem.
