Zips Drafted to Play North American Pro Hoops

I always thought Bill Turner was the only Zips player to make it to the NBA? Nate Barnett played for the Rockets?Click for Pro Zips...or ones that were at least drafted

Nate played for the Pacers in the old ABA. He was a tremendous talent. Nate is the nephew of ex NBA and Knicks great Dick Barnett.

In my opinion Leonard Paul would have made the Cavaliers roster if they hadn't decided to hire Lenny Wilkens as a player-coach. Lenny had to make room for himself and poof LP was gone.

You of course are free to assume whatever you want but Paul almost made the Cleveland roster.

My point is that Lenny Wilkens was the player coach of the Sonics .. but actually once I went to confirm it, he was the player coach of Portland. Never coached the Cavaliers as the player-coach.I made no comment about Paul.

You must be very young. Wonder if you remember when the Cavs played their home games in nSummit County?

Not as young as I'd like to be.I remember lots of things .. not sure where you're going with this, but I remember the old Cleveland Arena too.I'll say it again. Lenny was never the player coach of the Cavs .. played in the early 70's .. coached in the 80's.Feel free to look it up.
