ZachTheZip
Sounds good, up until the MAC championship and bowl game losses. If we have 8 wins on the season I won't be complaining one bit, but I think if we do get that far we will win either the MACC or bowl game. blueandgold
The one thing I don't agree with is that we have no one from our defense on the first or second team all MAC teams.
skip-zip
I sure hope this is how it turns out, but I'm not feeling it right now. blueandgold..I agree with you. I don't see why guys like Stokes, Grant, Corner and Mackey are not all on the first and second teams.
zip37
I am skeptical, waaaaaaayyyyyyy too high, we made ablolutely no progress lqst year and have a way to go yet, but I sure hope they suprise me.With ball ammunition lock and load and, of course
Big Zip
Am I missing something -- how is this team going to score? Aren't we missing almost the entire offense?
GP1
I don't see eight wins, but Akron plays OU at home, gets a bad Miami program on the road (same with BGSU) and Can't at home. I really like our chances to get seven wins. Hell, any more seven wins can get us in the MACC.My biggest disagreement is winning at UCONN. UCONN is bad, but they seem to have our number and playing on the road will kill us.Akron will have a good advantage next season with a mobile QB. Can't has a mobile QB, but they caught us early in the season last year and eveyone figured out they were a one trick pony by the end of the year and they fell apart....Akron will not be a one trick pony. I would go as far as to say we will have a better all around QB playing for us next year than Can't. It all starts with the QB though....if you don't have a good one, nothing else matters. If Jackson stinks, the team will look bad. It's a bad shake for CJ, but that's just the life of a QB. The best offensive line, the best receivers and the best running back can't overcome a bad QB. skip-zip
Well, I don't think we should be too concerned about Can't. If we are to win 8 games we BETTER beat Can't at home. This is really a stretch. If we lose to OSU, Indiana, WMU, and UCONN on the road, which are all fairly likely, we'd have to win EVERY other game to have 8 wins. That's very optimistic.
