Dr Z
Who gets to dot the "I" when the OSU band takes the field? Weekend pass.
BirdZip
2nd big question: Time running out in the 4th quarter, Akron trails by 2, last play of the game, ball on the 19 yard line, 4th down. Kick the 36-yard field goal or pass into the end zone? What if it all came down to a field goal?

Kiel Fleming
Perhaps tOSU can shell out more money to buy Ron Mexico for a day. He isn't busy anymore. Though he'll probably just organize a fight between Zippy and Brutus and wind up giving half the cheer leaders herpes.

I will be happy with either option if we have a chance to win the game on the last play. Where are Alcorn, Getsy & Hixson when you need them ?! skip-zip
Come on guys.....you'd try to kick the 36 year field goal to win the game rather than throw a pass into the end zone, no matter how confident you feel about your kicker.ahh...Maurice. There's also so many other good candidates too.
johnnyzip84
OK, here goes. On 4th down from the 19, we line up in the “spread” punt formation. Tressel calls a timeout because his players are laughing too much to focus. After the timeout, the Zippers assume the same formation. The laughter returns, but it’s primarily from the Red and Silver (please do NOT correct me on this, thank you!) fans this time, as Flaherty suddenly snaps the ball to CJ, who has snuck in the lineup as an up back. Meanwhile, Stec darts to his left then pivots 180 degrees and heads to the right flat. The rest of the team follows CJ who is slowly fading to the left side of the backfield. Just as the silver helmeted dudes are closing in (close enough, in fact, so that CJ can view the Appy St. undergarments on each of his pursuers) he heaves the ball with the trajectory of a mortar in the direction of the lonely Stec. John stumbles and bumbles for what seems like the last 10 seconds of the Zip-Redhawk basketball nightmare until the balls somehow lands between his left bicep and his helmet. He’s at the 10 yard line when it looks as though 3 Red and Silver dudes are about to hand the punting chores over to Hildreth for the rest of the season when all of a sudden, in a blaze of Blue and Gold glory, there comes none other than old #40 flying to the rescue. Laube simultaneously clocks the 3 Red and Silver dudes all the way to the Island of Misfit Toys as Stec waltzes into the end zone, untouched!!! Zips win by 4!!! Zips win by 4!!! skip-zip
Yep, come to think of it, if Akron can pull off this win, I'd drink for a week and call off sick for work. A win over the Suckeyes would top Getsy's pass to Hixson, Alcorn's 56 yards field goal, and Charlie's pass to Montgomery in the Marshall game. I can't wait for Saturday
