Captain Kangaroo Posted September 11, 2007 Report Posted September 11, 2007 He does get a TD. I think his JUCO gets better coverage than the Zips do in the Beacon? Quote
skip-zip Posted September 11, 2007 Report Posted September 11, 2007 Well, in a way I wish him luck since I've met him, and he's a good kid. But in a way, if his career really sky-rockets, I am going to feel like we let a great QB get away. Especially since none of us appear to be sold on either of the people that beat him out at this point. Quote
Zip_ME87 Posted September 11, 2007 Report Posted September 11, 2007 Again, I thought you didn't care Captain. :)Anyway, I still wish him well even though he left Akron. I would have preferred that he stayed with the Zips, but sometimes change is necessary. Quote
zip37 Posted September 11, 2007 Report Posted September 11, 2007 My forecast-- He will do well, eventually. Quote
AZipsCrazy Posted September 11, 2007 Report Posted September 11, 2007 Yea I wish he would have stuck it out here too. Now that I think about it what many of us have been saying about the team (terrible offensive strategy, I'm not sold on new offense, missing recievers) is exactly what Hakes was saying as he was leaving. And some of us thought he was taking a shot a the program, maybe he was just telling the truth... GOD I HOPE NOT!!! Quote
UADavid Posted September 12, 2007 Report Posted September 12, 2007 I think his JUCO gets better coverage than the Zips do in the Beacon? There is no way the beacon gives this amount of coverage to the Zips with the buckeyes a mere two hours away and the fla-shes 15 miles away. Quote
