Well, in a way I wish him luck since I've met him, and he's a good kid. But in a way, if his career really sky-rockets, I am going to feel like we let a great QB get away. Especially since none of us appear to be sold on either of the people that beat him out at this point.

Again, I thought you didn't care Captain. :)Anyway, I still wish him well even though he left Akron. I would have preferred that he stayed with the Zips, but sometimes change is necessary.

Yea I wish he would have stuck it out here too. Now that I think about it what many of us have been saying about the team (terrible offensive strategy, I'm not sold on new offense, missing recievers) is exactly what Hakes was saying as he was leaving. And some of us thought he was taking a shot a the program, maybe he was just telling the truth... GOD I HOPE NOT!!!
