Very interewsting reading. I iwll relate this story once again about the Miami game "pass". I was sitting in the south stands. The game was in hand, the last play upcoming , i got up from my seat and began waling over to the visitors lockerroom when Bengi threw that thing the length of the field and all I heard was that end of the stadium and stands erupt. Game over!

The most disappointed I have evere been at a Zip football game after they came out in the second half and kicked Miami's ass.

The Suckeyes tryly suck. the honeymoon is over with JT. No O, you slugs bitch about our OL, come down here and watch these guys suck. Our guys are good anyway these guys just suck.

How'd you get that gloss anyway? Are you a brain surgeon or something? Or is it just because you doctor up you beezo's (at pregame t/gates) with a shot of ole gran gag?

Good grab on the Bennie stuff. I'm proud of him, honest. He really did a noce job vs the Cowboys on Sunday. Another thing, that Cowboy kicker (Cundiff) is pretty darn good. That's the guy who edged out Zac at the very end of camp a couple years back. I still can't believe Zac didn't make it into the NFL.

I'm thinking about how I'd approach the next game were I JD. This game could be sort of like our Cal-Poly game of last season. No disrespect for Ball State, because anyone in the MAC can beat anyone else in the MAC on any given Saturday. But it just could be a chance to give some of the horses a little "rest" so to speak. We'll need 34, 5, 44, 23, 32 etc all healthy going into the wind-down of the season.........especially if we are to make a run at the title.

I'd like to see Ringer and Biggs combine for about 200 this week, and then have Superman get healthy in the Bye week and to pitch about a 350 at the green weenies on TV the next Friday night.............that would be utopia for me. But what do I know, I still drive a Pinto (with an XM however )

Oh, one more thing..................this is the week Ashland plays Wayne State in Detroit. It's Wayne's homecoming. I'll be interested in finding out how many old players go to see Lee face off against Paul ????? Some spy will report.

Another thing...............ZW, how about freshening up our emoticons......isn't there an upgrade you can add on?

I can't play those "Annoucer Drinking Games" anymore. I used to do the one where you drank a shot of Wild Turkey every time Hipsher said "Well exactly...." I was in la la land before tip-off every week!

I agree with Stams. I think he does a nice job. He adds legit insight. The comment I remember from last week was, after a 9-yard pass completion by UCF: "The defensive line and the cornerbacks need to communicate better. The DL's need to tell the CB's to tighten up their coverage. The DL's are getting great pressure on Moffett, but the CB's coverage is so soft he can still lob out passes for big gains." It wasn't rocket science, but commentary like that gives the listener a better idea of what's transpiring than "rah rah we're great" stuff.

Does Biggs run 25 times this week? Does Ball State go to school off the last 2 games and stack the line? If so, is Frye's finger well enough to take advantage of it? Will Jabari play...how serious is his shoulder?...Is our DL suddenly that good, or are UCF and Buffalo's OL's that atrocious? Is Brookhart running so heavily because of Frye's finger, or because run blocking is the OL's strength and it is our best chance to win?

Whatever the reasons...I give the new staff credit for keeping the team together after such a tough start and actually putting us in a position to play for a championship. I give them credit for adapting their game plans as situations necessitate (my biggest gripe regarding the former staff). Of course, kudos to the players who, from Dec '03 to November 2nd '04 had numerous reasons to pack-it-in, but put forth the effort to make a championship run!

Biggest game is Zips MAC history Saturday? Beat Ball State, and fill the Bowl for Marshall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
