skip-zip
I've been thinking about this all week.....How important would it be, both in the standings, and in the confidence of our team, if we can get out to a 4-0 start??Temple this week at home...and Buffalo after a week off. Seems to play in our favor. This would pretty much leave Can't, OU, Buffalo, and Temple in the dust, and make it a 3-team race. That would be a great start, and would go a long way towards putting us into a position to win the league, and if not, at least make us close to being bowl-eligible. Let'sGoZips94
This would pretty much leave Can't, OU, Buffalo, and Temple in the dust, and make it a 3-team race. Can't has always been in the dust since the day they became a college. OU got beat by Can't so they are done. Buffalo is just a mystery. Temple is just plain old bad.

I dont think that temple is as bad as people think. look at the teams they lost to and the margin of loss.... they lost to Uconn by 5 points. so their not as bad as people think, we better not underestimate them or we will end up gettin bit. ZachTheZip
Right now the East is a toss up between Akron, Buffalo, Miami, and BGSU. We'll see how everything works out over this week and next week. My guess is that a lot of things will fall our favor. I have the feeling that this team has something special that we have never had before, they are able to will themselves to victory.
Lee Adams
as i said before...the scenario is..the ZIPS HAVE TO win out at home...beat Buffalo AND steal one from either MIAMI or BG...preferably from whichever team wins the Miami- BG game this week...then its eithe MAC Champeenship or a Bowl
skip-zip
Lee Adams...your scenario gives us 8 wins, which will DEFINITELY get us into a bowl game. But, you are also assuming that we'll win two road games from here on out, AND win our season finale at home against Central Michigan, probably the best team in either division of the MAC.This is very wishful thinking. I'm going to stick with being happy if we can just get to 6 or 7 wins.
