zippyrifle32 Posted October 18, 2007 Report Posted October 18, 2007 i'm just tired of seeing the extremes of jd is god after a win, and jd needs the boot after a loss. Quote

LosAngelesZipFan Posted October 18, 2007 Report Posted October 18, 2007 I think there are verrryy few if any posters here that are all "JD is a God" anymore, after any win, so I think the premise of this criticism is flawed. More the to the point, however, is that those of us that have been airing our frustration after the breakdown Saturday really just care about the program making real and consistent progress. I think the criticism has been very measured and specific-- no one has been trashing JD, just kind of calling it like it is. (IMHO) Quote
zen Posted October 18, 2007 Report Posted October 18, 2007 haha, zippyrifle. Best spoof title evar!Sometimes I wonder if some of these people who post here are really can't fans in disguise, trying to stir up some drama.I can understand disappointment after a loss, but there will be plenty of time for over-zealous witch-hunts after the season is over. GoZips88 Posted October 18, 2007 Report Posted October 18, 2007 Zippy is now UP by about 200 votes as of 9:25AM this morning.I was REALLY down on Zippy early in the week when she went down almost immediately by 900 votes. I was beginning to have my doubts as to whether Zippy is the right mascot to take us to the next level. Given the resiliency she and her followers have shown the last couple of days, I'm leaning towards voting to KEEP Zippy at least one more week even if she ends up losing this week. Her opponent this week is Monte ... a two-time Capital One Bowl champion and very worthy opponent. On the other hand, U of Montana IS a Div. I-AA (or whatever the hell they call it now) program. Let's give Zippy the benefit of the doubt and at least one more week. Cocky is up next out of the SEC. If Zippy stumbles again, I say she just might be outta here! Quote
Captain Kangaroo Posted October 18, 2007 Report Posted October 18, 2007 It isn't Zippy's fault. It is the Costume Coordinator!! Fire the Costume Coordinator!!! The previous Costume Coordinator was awesome. The old costume stitching was WAY better than the crap we've witnessed the past 3 years. The costume material thread count has decreased dramatically, and quite frankly I'm tired of it. I don't care if we need to eat the CC's contract...she's got to go.I have written Mack Roades daily regarding this topic, and I urge everyone at ZipsNation to do so as well!! Quote

It's just the same stitch double stitch crap over and over again. I'm tired of it. Quote
InTheZone Posted October 19, 2007 Report Posted October 19, 2007 The current CC also has a lot better material and equipment to work than the previous CC!! NO EXCUSES!!! Quote
