Captain Kangaroo
I'm guessing 22K? I haven't heard much Marketing push for the game? Do any of the 20K that left in the 3rd quarter of the Marshall game return for a few more quarters Saturday? Another question is: Will the Akron fans be vocal? I know the fans in the endzone were pretty clueless for the Marshall game. They sat quietly on their asses for 2 quarters, then filed out early. I can guarantee Miami's fans will be pretty boisterous...and it wouldn't shock me to see 6-8k worth of those white turtleneck and red sweatshirt wearin' bastards in the stands belchin' up their tailgate foie gras and Bordeaux, screaming for their team. 49 hours til kick off... zipboy
20K. Let's get a big lead so they stick around for 3 quarters.
Zipsrifle
I think it will be 20K but don't think there will be many students from Miami. Unfortunately my Brother is a Redhawk and he couldn't talk ANY of his Frat brothers to make the trip with him? .....WTF???? They were going to get free pre-game food and beverages from his Zips Fan brother. If Miami can't get their Frat Boys to make a road trip for a Division Championship game with free Drinks on top, they are really going to have attendence problems in the future. Should be a good home town crowd and I know my group will be making noise, I know we're loud because at the away games people ask us shut up . Can't wait, I think we're in for a good game. I'm packing up right now. Go Zips! Oh, yea, I'm going to try to make the Soccer game tomorrow, if I can get out of work. Anyone else going to be there? Dr Z
Good time to be a Zip fan. Everything seems to be going our way right now. Weather clears up for kickoff (kleeek here)
Guest zipfan38
If the weather holds out I think you will have 23k+. The MAC moved to Cleveland for the concentration of MAC alumni in this area. Outside of Can't State and the Zips, I think Miami is the 3rd largest concentration of alums. It is not too late in the year for the turtleneck snowbirds to be gone from Ohio.
Guest Vandelay
I'll be there. My guess is 21K for attendance
zipsbandman
I say 25k. I talked to many students, and most of them are coming. We will have a loud student section. The senors will get a great send off.
Kangaroo Craig
I will be tailgating with the Lambda Chi contingent. Word has it that the Greeks and Greek alumni will be showing strong. As long as the rain holds off, I will be optimistic and predict 27,000. Go Zips!
Guest Guest
My guess is that the number of "fans" in attendance will be directly related to the number of free tickets given away.

You lost buddy. You are being sent out of the MAC as a disgraced loser. Deal with it, get over it. Marshall is no longer on the same level as teams such as Miami, BG, Toledo, NIU, or even the Zips for that matter. Don't let the door hit ya where they good Lord split ya. Zips4life
My attendance guess for tonight: Great weather for November, a lot bigger game than Marshall with higher stakes, more Miami fans there than Terd fans.....32,
Guest Guest
wtf is a "ZIP"? Seriously, everyone in the MAC would love to know! The rubber bowl? My prediction? cryami will fill the rubber for you and kick your ass. No seriously, good luck. And your comebacks are terribly clever
Zipsrifle
According to the Stinkin' Urinal there were 17, 410 at the game last night. NO WAY. The home stands were packed full and the visitor stands were about 2/3 full and the endzone section was about 1/2 full. For a 31,000 seat stadium, that is well over 20,000. I actually thought the crowd was almost as good as the Marshall game. I don't know who is in charge of counting people at the Rubber Bowl, but this is the 2nd game this year where I think they are WAY off with the attendence. Oh, well, doesn't matter, we made our quota.
