he was listed as "athlete"; I just figured because of his size he'd be a better safety than DB.
149 lbs? Couldn't he round it up to 150, or put a roll of pennies in his socks? I'll be interested to learn more about him...149lbs is REALLY small.

I found this on Bobcatattack.com. In a nut sheek this is what he said to rivals.comWaller to Akron...for now. He's leaving his options open but it won't be Ohio. Says Akron has better facilities, better city, better broadcasting program (?) and more immediate need for corners. He has let the Zips know he's gone if something better comes along.Nice to see if he gets a better offer he will take that.....

Isn't a safety a DB?At that size, if he is playing defense, the only position he could possibly play would be CB. But KR or WR seems more likely.I'm going to assume that this guy is MAC level talent, at best, unless he does some growing.

They actually have film of him at all three positions (WR, DB, KR, even RB now that I think of it). Seemed perfectly fine running between tackles.FWIW, Scouts lists him at 5 feet 9.5 inches and 160 pounds. Eugene Jarvis size.

Better broadcasting program? WHOA, Nellie! Take THAT Matt Lauer ;) -- and about half the nation's anchormen and women.

This kid won't be able to play when the wind is blowing more than 10 mph cause he will blow away. 149 lbs on a 5'8" body!
So he'll be a situational substitute. He only gets the ball when we "have the wind"
