AwesomeDude
ok i said that i dont have to mention how important this game is, but im going to do it anyway. THIS GAME IS A MUST MUST MUST WIN FOR THIS ZIPS!!!!! ok i feel better. With the last two games everyone has noticed that the zips have turned it over WAY to freaking much. Thats obvious. I think that with this being a home game and all it will be a completely different zips team from what we have had to endure recently. At home, rowdies being rowdie, fans for the zips, and the comfort of being at home. Should be a good emotional boost for the guys. ok i said enough anyone else? Agent Zero
Toledo doesn't really have much of an inside presence, so Wood should dominate. However..if they can't shut down Kashif Payne, the Rockets will stay in the game the entire night. This game may present more trouble for the Zips guards than the Zips big men (Toledo gets a LOT of steals).

Got to get them in position to support Wood better.
Blue & Gold
I still keep waiting for Chris McKnight to break out. He played well at Can't. I don't know, it may not happen till next year. Do you guys remember that Romeo didn't really blossom until J.Wood tore his ACL and was out for a year? Wood is so dominant that he may be overshadowing Chris in much the same way. Romeo went on to become one of the best Zips ever, and Chris McKnight was a higher profile recruit than Rome coming out of high school. Who knows? Zip Watcher
We should probably try to contain Greg Stempin .. he can put up big numbers in a hurry if left unchecked.

skip-zip
ZipsGPA...I think it's pretty wishful thinking, except in a blowout situation, that you will see a guy like Bardo get increased playing time, just to give him more experience.Unfortunately, we are already at that time of the season where wins become so valuable, and starters begin playing more significant minutes.Yep, I know he needs to develop. But, we also need to win games right now.
The Hip Zip
Actually, Payne has been gone from day one. His absence has been a problem that the Rockets have not found an answer for.He was expected to carry a big load for UT this season.

skip-zip
I just heard about Jeremiah possibly not playing much tonight. As long as we still win the game, I hope this is a great opportunity for Bardo to gain some experience. In case you guys haven't heard, Cedrick is likely out tonight. He's certainly looked ineffective at times this year. I guess the knees are really starting to take their toll. I'm sure he's been trying to overlook it. It has to be really disappointing for him, knowing he would have been a big part of this team this year. And, after what happened in the MAC championship game last year. I feel really bad for him. He's a good kid.
ZachTheZip
Injuries are really hurting us, but we're at home today. Now is the perfect chance to see who is able to step up their game. Bardo and C. McKnight will have their chance, and we all hope that they will make the most of it. I believe in willpower, and that having a strong will can overcome a lack of talent or experience. The seniors are pushing this team, and you can see their determination. You can also see the lack of it in many of our underclassmen. The home crowd is also able to push a team and keep them going, like we saw at the Ohio game. Tonight it's up to the home crowd to push our younger players. So if you can be at the game, clapping and the occasional cheer is not enough. We need to be intense, and hope that intensity gets reflected on the court. skip-zip
And let's hope that the home crowds will not diminish in size after the results of the last two game. You know how quickly people can jump off the bandwagon when it appears that a team might not be as good as they once thought. And it's going to be a bitter cold night. rowdy52
I REALLY wish I could be at the game tonight but with 3 classes that I already missed to go to last weeks Akron vs Cant game I cant miss them again. Hopefully the crowd will be a good size and they can get some encouragement and a little extra push from that. I agree with uakronkid that you can really see the seniors and certain guys on the team pushing the team harder and their determination to win. I know it will hurt to possibly have both Woods and Cedrick out tonight but better to get them some rest and get them better than to have more problems down the line like in March when we must win.
