KD a Duck?

Recommended Posts

I love KD because he loves his hometown and his U and is genuinely commited to building this program right here. At the HOF luncheon he mentioned that he loves LeBron so much because LeBron is a loyal guy. Well, I think KD appreciates loyalty so much because he is loyal himself! He doesn't want to go anywhere; he's a true homeboy!

Christian might go, but I always thought his was goal was to get to an East Coast team, and this is pretty much the exact opposite of that. I actually hope Christian goes. His team will fall apart without him there to hold together his JUCO amalgm and nobody able to find replacements. It's a recipe for disaster once he leaves, and it would be beautiful to see them fall like that.

I love KD and I certainly hope you are right, but when you look at the cash they're offering (probably in the $800K range) he's got to at least talk to them if they are interested. I hope not, but remember, we do have a very smart head coach. After all, he is a UA grad. :)

does anybody know what contract is right now.i do not think he would leave akron as long as he is treated fairly by au admin.au needs to lock him down to a long term contract.every year it seems like we lose guys, and we keep on winning.kd strategy of home and home games will keep this program going.i know some people dont like it,but you have the other extreme with the football team.playing on the road for $,and look at where each program is right now.

That would make the rivalry worse if they have a bad team...It's not fun when two rivals are not at the same caliber of play. And also isnt KD wrapped up till 2014?

First of all, contracts don't mean anything. But, KD has said that he will stay if Akron will let him, and I believe that will be the case.I also agree that Can't has become a great arena for a coach who is ready for the mid-major level, and that won't change if Christian leaves. We need to start repeatedly knocking them off, if we want that to change.

yeah... oregon state just sucked a little this year
#32,If OSU has any sense, they'll grab Ken Bone -- the Portland State coach who beat our Zips in the Arctic this season.
agreed. psu had talent (i knew dominguez from when i played in hs) but oregon state has more potential to pull better recruits. btw, it's just os now, not osu. they didn't want to be confused with ohio state or oklahoma state (who also has the same school colors).
