It meant more money and he was tempted, but he had a change of heart after speaking with Nick Van Exel, an NBA player at the time and a former guard on the 1992 Cincinnati team he guided to the Final Four."He said, 'You'll never have a chance to develop the relationships you had with us at Cincinnati, you'll never have a chance to have the influence you had with us, and you'll never get a chance to help people like you helped us,'" Huggins shared. "I thought about it and he was right." Pretty cool stuff.
