  1. I feel bad for JoeMo here but this is the new reality of college football. Aside from a few programs, everyone has to rebuild every year, just depends how much.
  2. Pretty loaded at TE with Cravaack and Newell, this doesn’t hurt like many of the others. I’m thinking there will be many more coming in the next week or so.
  3. Akron has the best stadium in the MAC but locker room and overall facilities they do not. Miami’s locker room, indoor, meeting rooms etc blow away Akron’s - not even close
  4. Well, the Akron coaches aren’t providing all the same services to JoeMo that she was providing to Sherrone!
  5. Very impressive track record for new Toledo Head Coach. Would a guy like this accept the Akron job? On one hand, I could see him taking it because it’s a D1 job, but on the other hand, I could see him not taking it because you are set up to fail. What do you think? https://utrockets.com/news/2025/12/10/mike-jacobs-named-head-football-coach-at-toledo
  6. Screw ND, spoiled babies. They got what they earned - nothing
  7. When people say it’s impossible to win here you have to look at situations like this, or even Indiana. Last season was their first in FBS.
  8. Interesting on a couple levels, Joe isn’t going to UConn and now Toledo will be looking for a new head coach
  9. I just wish something would happen one way or the other. Wish he’d take a job or announce he’s here for another year.
  10. That link says nothing about it?
  11. Agree, he had to have very limited options when he committed to Akron. Those big offers likely came very early in the recruiting process and are non existent today. Many possible reasons - poor camp performance, high school film wasn’t as good as expected, grades, getting in trouble, coaching changes, etc., all possible reasons. Bottom line is that no kid is going to Akron if they had committable offers at Penn State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Miami, Georgia etc etc. It just doesn’t happen.
  12. Something clearly doesn’t add up here, but regardless, he’s committed to Akron at this point
