  1. I believe they are half brothers.
  2. The Zips return to the friendly confines of the JAR this Tuesday to face Miami. The Redhawks are 7-12/1-5 with their only MAC win coming against Buffalo. 5’8” fifth year guard Mekhi Lairy leads the Redhawks at 17.2 ppg. 6’5” junior guard Morgan Safford contributes 15.4 ppg while leading then in rebounding at 6.1 rpg. The are 7th in both offense and defense in the MAC.
  3. WMU becomes the first Michigan directional to avoid Evan Wilson relegation this season.
  4. "Eat like a king who's on a budget..." Ugh.
  5. The subtle dig at Zips' football was a nice touch.
  6. Getting killed on the boards, so much so that it's balancing out the 10 to 1 turnover advantage.
  7. The nice start sure went to ****. Even when the Zips were playing well early WMU was sticking around.
  8. Too much standing and watching and eventually hoisting up threes in this stretch.
  9. Wow, did I just see a D1 player (X) follow his shot and rebound his own miss? I can't recall the last time I saw that happen,
  10. Lalalalalalalalalala....I'm not listening, I'm not listening (hands over ears).
  11. I don't interpret it that way, but that may be some type of a denial mechanism on my part! I interpret it as Enrique is taking advantage of all that UA has to offer.
  12. I've been critical of GT at times over the years, but I very much enjoyed that article. Good stuff.
  13. Jaden Rashada is looking to get out of his commitment to Florida because his $13M NIL deal fell through when the Florida Collective couldn't come up with the $$$$$$$$$$$. What a strange world college athletics have become. On the positive side, LSU gymnastics meets are selling out.
  14. Exactly. It's going to be a crazy year in the MAC.
  15. Lurch the referee wanted to get home!
  16. Kalamazoo awaits the Zips as they head into the University Arena Saturday afternoon for tilt against the 6-12 WMU Broncos. The Broncos are 2-3 in the MAC with wins against EMU and BG and losses to PCCC, Toledo and Ball State. The Broncos nearly pulled off a win against Ball State last night losing by only one to Ball State on a layup by Payton Sparks with 15 seconds left in the game. Lamar Norman Jr. posted his third 30-point game of the season with a game-high 31 points. The 6'1" Norman, another Duquesne transfer, leads WMU scoring at 18.6 ppg. 6'7" redshirt junior forward Markeese Hastings leads rebounding at an impressive 10 rpg.
  17. Evan Wilson enters- CMU relegated.
  18. Zips up 27 and still playing hard on D.
  19. Central has no one that can get them into the offense without Miller.
  20. This team has a long way to go to reach its potential. The good news is that it has a long way to go, 14 games, to reach its potential.
  21. Former OU QB Nathan Rourke, who has been very successful in the CFL, has signed with Jacksonville.
  22. Aren't those the obnoxious plastic horns they blow at the soccer games?
  23. Lots of defense in that BG/WMU game. It's going to be a weird year in the MAC.

  25. Tough to forget when it was in the immediately preceding yours! LOL. The Chipps have obviously had an up and down year.
