I've wrote multiple times on ZN (as others have), that I would like to see set plays run for McAdams. It's finally starting to happen. So last night Frenchy asks KD about it after the game, and KD responds "Yeah, if the head coach would have gotten his head out of his rear end a long time ago we could have been doing this all along." For those of you that continuously write "trust KD", or "KD knows better than you", you might want to consider that some ZN members have the ability to evaluate and discuss things that might be good ideas.

The Zips will be ready. They've had their sights dead set on Can't. Their defensive intensity of NIU and WMU is proof of it. Pat will play better. He's feeling somewhat better but is just rusty.

And we can and should beat Can't. Onward.

Kwan was right to be annoyed by the uncalled-for poking at the ball by the WMU player. It's OK to be annoyed, but you have to be able to manage your emotions in those circumstances. I love the level of emotion that helps drive both Kwan and Antino to perform at a high level, which reminds me of Q's game. But they both need to learn to avoid overreacting to provocations and taunts from opposing teams. Just focus on your game and don't get suckered into doing something that ends up hurting your team with a technical. It's all about winning the game, not winning peeing matches with opposing players.

I thought the automatic bid for the NIT went to the regular season conference champion if they don't win the tournament. So wouldn't CMU go if they don't win the tourney regardless of who wins?

We're complaining because the officiating was so bad that Dambrot felt that he had to go out and get a T to show his players he will fight for them when they are getting screwed.

Forgot to write about this: I sent a Tweet to ESPN and they actually responded and let me know that twc doesn't have the same exclusive rights on the tournament because of ESPN's sponsorship at the Q. ALL TOURNAMENT GAMES will be available via WatchESPN and ESPN3, none subject to blackout.

Agree, crappy move by the WMU player. With the game over why are you trying to take the ball? Also a crappy move by Kwan to wave and mouth "bye bye" to the WMU players. Both players were in the wrong. Beat Ken+!

I like how your response to Dave's post escalates rather quickly from speculation and uncertainty to insisting that you are certain that you know the intensions of an official who you don't even know. You're dead wrong if you think certain officials don't have a problem with certain coaches, players, or teams. The extent to which any of them allow those feelings to influence their decision making is the only question.

Offensively, we did not look very smooth and our offense did not produce like it did at Can't and against Northern Illinois. Our defense was great. Kwan played an outstanding defensive game and had some key rebounds. He was holding the ball at the end of the game and the Western Michigan player kept reaching in attempting to get the ball. Clearly, a classless move. Kwan kept his cool until the guy would not stop. Bad ending to the game and the players did not shake hands. Weird stat of the night. We only scored 5 two point baskets. Those four 3 point baskets in a row won the game. Bad news is that KD did not use Arron Jackson and almost all of our guys played between 25 and 30 minutes. I hope they have something in the tank for Can't. Looking forward to Can't but will need to play better offensively than tonight. Go Zips!!

Some? That game was an atrocity against good officiating.

The only thing I've recieved is that season ticket holders pay $34 a ticket. Which, IMO, for anything that's not the championship game, is a joke.

Aodhan Quinn was on trial with the Philadelphia Union again this year, but was released. I'm hoping he finds a team for this season.
