Today there are a couple solid performances from future foes. American lost to #25 Maryland 56-62. They had the lead with 6 minutes left and were within 3 with about a minute left. Eastern going to double OT at Pitt but have 3 guys fouled out including Bond and Thompson. Ball State taken it to St Louis at their place 43-19 at half.1 point

It was outstanding that so many starters only had to play 45 to 55 minutes last night. it was great that Jared had the confidence to rest Stuart and Sam at the start of the 2nd half and that their replacements (Ezana and Marcel) both delivered goals in the 2nd half. Goncalo Soares may not be the fastest soccer player but he delivered a perfect pass on the 2nd half header goal1 point

AJ would not have been a good fit with the Zips. He is pretty soft for a player his size. I wish him luck at OU but I trust our staff to recruit guys who are a good fit for UA.1 point
