IDK. Seems like I was at a different game than everyone else. Blue Seats...I know someone who has 4 but now goes to Florida in January. It may be KD leaving but also many didn't re-appear after COVID.

From BG Message Board Re: No depth = getting run out of the gym Quote Post by guest44 » Sat Jan 06, 2024 7:37 am Let’s bring back Elsasser. Let’s go find football and baseball players who can play 15 minutes a game and make sure we don’t qualify for the MAC Tournament again this year. Let’s hope the league tries to do what Akron did. Have you watched many of them? Some don’t have 3 players who would play in Akron’s rotation let alone depth themselves. BG lost to the best team in the MAC and led for nearly 30 minutes. The most promising part is we looked like we belonged and on the road. The depth will come back from injuries and the end of the bench can play against the bottom of the MAC. Hard to believe that was the only Zips/Falcons match up this year. Will need that for tiebreak situation🤔

Groce said he thought it was odd to give a T to his "best player" at that point in the game and fouling out to boot. May be some tears from Groce when Tribble graduates. Seems like Ali was back to his old habit as well.

Tribble's been my favorite Zip since he first appeared on scene in 2010

All eyes on Ypsilanti tomorrow.

Wasn't a full house but the crowd was loud and into it. Best crowd so far.

Thoughts: @clarkwgriswold like the movie Pickup on South Street. 1. Before the game, the BG message board mentioned that the falcons weren't deep and would have trouble. Zips bench outscored theirs by 20. Hill was in for 39 minutes, after playing the OT game against EMU, so by those last 10 minutes he was tired, frustrated and was playing hero ball. 2. I was thinking to myself and telling everyone i could text if the Zips need to get it down to 5 or 6 by half. Nice shot by Johnson to end the half. Well played by Groce taking that time out and telling them just get that last shot...don't want to be down by 10. 3. Groce used another time out well in the 2nd half when Zips had the lead. 4. This wasn't a Huger BG team. They played like a team with a good coach, who has thrown a team together his first year.

I guess we will see who wants it more.

According to @clarkwgriswold, a grad assistant monitors the portal. FWIW.
-
I think the Buffalo fans are happier with their coach at this point. And I don't mean that sarcastically.
-
Tribble won't be leaving the starting 5.
-
zips losses are to team ranked above them. Three were without Ali? Zips are prepared for MAC season.
-
Must be a BGSU grad running the Mid Major Madness Twitter feed.
-
Maybe St. Bonaventure was a really good team.
-
I think the men at Over the Pylon would disagree with your calendar, Clark./

Post of the year!
-
Are you finished? Any other wisdom you wish to impart on us?
-
Bonnie's defense won that. Zips are tough.
-
A friend got me a ticket through the university, not sure how much it will be. I thought the prices were outrageously high.
-
And for some masochistic holiday reason you have the need to re-visit, yet again, the worst moment in Zips basketball. history. Just sayin'...
-
I can breakdown the Zips for you: According to the Bradley Braves message board the Zips are: "Freeman and four other guys." So I guess now the Zips are "Freeman, Ali, and three other guys."
-
Gardner Webb is NOT a bad team. Detroit Mercy or Buffalo are bad teams this season. GW was physical and tough.
-
I guess we get one of these every year. Never in doubt.
-
And how are they going to enforce these tickets? They aren't law enforcement. I have a lot pass, but I'm still offended by this. Years ago when I lived in Chicago I received a ticket for parking in a "non-metered spot." We could contest by mail. I sent pics of where I parked and showed them it was perfectly legal and then added thus in un-American, ticketing me for being smart.

has to be the worse loss or close to the worse loss at home for Toledo in the Todd era.
