Eric was the biggest culprit in the Yale game as well. And it only takes one guy to miss his assignment for a team like Yale to take advantage. There is a reason why Groce likes the “get old, stay old” approach, but Eric has just so much upside.

I feel the same way. The offense is clicking, but the defense is just okay. By no means locked down.

Northern Illinois and Wisconsin are getting hit with snow today. So it might still be coming your way. But I’m glad it didn’t affect the game. Go Zips!!

I think Arizona was bigger and more athletic at all positions including their bigs. I had to look them up, but here’s a few that Eric and Harris might have helped guard against. 6-4 pg Caleb Love, 6-6 F Trey Townsend and 6-8 F Carter Bryant. Maybe it wouldn’t have mattered much, but I remember these 3 guys for a reason.

That game dropped Cinci about 35 spots on Kenpom and moved EMU up ~130 spots. I absolutely love it.

I’m seeing snow warnings for the Thanksgiving holiday. All of Wisconsin and NE Ohio are likely to be affected at some point. I hope they are paying attention and plan accordingly. I need another game badly.

Besides Barre, I’m hoping to see Oggie take a big step forward on the defensive end this year. His size and athleticism could have been a help to us if he was more experienced.

It will be interesting to look back on this game at the end of the year.

One Tavari bucket that almost went down too.

I know it’s just not the same because we lost, but Hardman was put in at the end and boy did he hit an incredible deep three with a hand in his face.

Yale shot 14 of 19 (73.7%) from the line against Green Bay and 11 of 18 (61.1%) against Charleston. They’re good, but we caught them on the wrong night. And there is a little bush league in that ivy. The fact that the refs let them get away with that hook and hold crap was driving me crazy. We do need better defense. There is still a lot of season left for everyone to improve, including hopefully Barre.
