Oh, for me it’s the fact that Groce beat Toledo in the MAC Tournament one year and it seems like our Zips have been rolling ever since. Where as Toledo has good conference records, but can’t get past Groce (or Miami, Ohio, Kent). But because he does seem to despise Groce, I like to give Groce credit for breaking him. Just having fun and I’m biased of course.

I agree. The Zips players shouldn’t look ahead, but I don’t see why us fans can’t start talking about Purdue a little early. Purdue page please. 🙏

I know many people on this forum don’t care for these games against Division 2 teams (or worse). They don’t bother me as much, but then again I’m not a season ticket holder. They do serve a purpose. I just wish I could watch it on ESPN+.

I hope Barre does better against players closer to his own size. The box score has him with 3 fouls in 5 minutes. Ouch!!

Watching Zach Halligan and hearing laudatory comments from the announcers has me wondering if he might work himself into some real playing time. I think it would have to be the right situation, but I’m not sure what that would be.
