    If zero eighth graders pass the math test, that’s not a success story. You can debate standardized tests, but a 0% pass rate shows something is seriously wrong. Akron city kids deserve better results than 100% failure. Edit: Typo

    and it's BAD!! I think only two of 75 seventh grade students passed the state math test and zero in the 8th grade passed.

    Tbh I don't really think it would. I'd think most players today probably care about NIL, PT and geographic location. The venue would be toward the bottom of my priorities at least. On the flip side - even if the state matches some, Miami still has to foot a good amount and that's less $$ for what matters

    I see both sides. You're right—it's very difficult to run the table (MAC play), but Akron could have done it last year. If you replace the game at OU with a home game vs. Eastern, the Zips could have run the table too. Now juxtapose that against Miami not having to come to Akron this year.

    I know it wasn't an either/or but I'd rather NDSU than Sac State. Maybe that's just me but the same rationale against NDSU joining applies here too. Just to an even more outrageous degree.

    Before NIU the closest MWC school was Wyoming. NDSU has more juice than other MAC programs. I'd rather have NDSU and go west than Buffalo/UMass heading east
