No its not Junk. Its the Gillespie boy.I did some digging. What I understand is he blocks well and not afraid to hit people according to my source he just isn't getting a chance at all.I found some clips of him running and he can pick up the tough yard. I think Mack is a defensive player. I swear there was a #43 in the program that is listed as FB at 240lbs which is a big back.Why don't we put him in front of our RBs to clear a path?

I liked the fact we used some new OL. X looked pretty good. We need to look at some more young guys for help. I watched a TE and NT limp all night long. How can we stop anyone or block & run with injured players? There has to be some other guys. Receivers seem to get open and Kato found them.As far as a big back, we have a 240lb fullback on the roster. Why in the heck are we not using a back this size to leed block and create holes for our backs? I don't see 43 on the sidelines. Is he hurt?

Anyone watching what the Vikings running backs are doing to the Dallas D? Awhile back ,I asked why we don't use 2 backs in the backfield. Look at this FB blowing holes open and creating running lanes for the TB. Why cant we do this? We haven't even tried this yet??

He will be a great D2 player.

If you watched Miami vs Ohio last night the 2 Gs on the line for Miami were true FR. They did a pretty good job.

I hope this yrs crop of JUCOs is better than last. I have not been impressed who we spent money on last go around.

Frank Solich wins because he surrounds himself with great assistants. Look at the staff he has had. Many great HCs do very little coaching. Like it or not thats reality.

So what your saying is most of the boys woke up this year and all of a sudden became terrible football players. How would you know if they are bad if they do not receive any opportunity to showcase themselves.? Hmmm I believe the Vikings have a receiver who every D1 school passed on but is now a All pro in the league. A little school in MN took a chance and gave him a chance when no one else would.He said no one wanted him. I guess he was a bad player too ?

I have heard there are guys out there that are not even getting a sniff for one reason or another. Politics ? Most likely. As much as I hate to say its ramped in sports at all levels.

I guess I should be a little clearer. Its the underclassman mainly. I assume in practice they are not going full speed so its hard to evaluate. IMO.

Fair assessment ! However, what about the boys that are not even getting a chance. They didn't just wake up and become bad players. Not sure every boy needs to step down a level. If you are a FR or SO or heck even a JR you can transfer to another D1 program. Some might have to sit and others can try to get a waiver.SR that have graduated can transfer and play.

I would like to see some opinions regarding the transfer portal.There are currently 7 players in the portal now. How many more will follow. A lot of these young men have to be thinking that if they are not playing much on a winless team , Why stay?

When your LBs and S combine for most all the tackles you don't win. This tells me no D line.Tells me opponents are gashing you in the run game or airing it out on you. Neither is good.

I think your witnessing players in wrong positions, ones that don't belong on the field and players who could contribute standing around.As Clark mentioned they need to recruit the JUCOs heavy for capable O line and D line and a few DBs.I do feel we have good skill positions but doesn't matter because without a line you have nothing.

Another question? Look at the sideline for BG. All their boys are dressed with exception of injured. AU home games we have at least 20 kids wearing jerseys. Please tell me why? Im sure all these kids work their tails off during the week just to get rewarded by wearing a jersey? Not sure the mentality with this. You don't attract recruits or anyone with this practice. Dress em all for Gods sakes and play em all.We are 0-9 .
