  1. I am hopeful it’s ESPN+. All our home non conference games this year were on ESPN.
  2. I watched their game yesterday against Penn. I think the matchup favors the Zips.
  3. Even though I don’t like how the Zips play against Horizon League teams, I think the Zips get a home game against Robert Morris on Thursday, and then have to go to West Virginia for the second round.
  4. It’s a loss. Only a loss in PKs is counted as a draw
  5. https://www.ncaa.com/news/soccer-men/article/2024-11-10/2024-ncaa-di-mens-soccer-championship-selection-show-info-bracket-dates
  6. Another variable is that teams are required by the NCAA to submit bids to host tournament games. Some of these qualifying schools may not have even bid to host. From NCAA Soccer The following materials must be submitted by institutions that wish to be considered as hosts for preliminary-round competition. All materials are due by 5 p.m. Eastern time, Monday, October 28, 2024. https://ncaaorg.s3.amazonaws.com/championships/sports/soccer/d1/men/2024-25D1MSO_PreliminaryRoundNon-PredeterminedBid.pdf
  7. Ohio State / Michigan game in Columbus is packed as well
  8. Princeton moves all the way to 17 after defeating Penn. Oregon State 31 Cal 32 Fordham 33 Zips 34
  9. Vermont goes up 2-1 4:53 left. Vermont stadium is full. Band, cheerleaders looks amazing
  10. Just switched to Vermont game. Bryant tied it with 7:00 left. Huge crowd at the game
  11. Cal and Fordham are both still just a little higher than the Zips above the predicted cut line. Cal definitely falls out and I think Fordham does as well.
  12. Watching Penn/ Princeton. Princeton up 2-0 58’. The Zips are head and shoulders abov both these teams.
  13. Dayton beats St Louis 3-0 St Louis moves from 35-37
  14. Dayton up 3-0. 73’. Hopefully that finishes off St Louis
  15. Dayton up 1-0 at half. St Louis playing with 10 players after a red card in the 32’. Good for the Zips if it holds.
  16. Portland beats Oregon State. Oregon State goes from 21 to 30. Zips hold solid at 34. St Louis, who has a win over Portland, goes to 35. UCSB, who also has a win over Portland goes to 38.
  17. NC State has a loss to High Point who lost their conference championship game tonight. The RPI stuff across everyone’s schedule is dizzying.
  18. UMKC scores at 89:47 to beat Denver and jumps to 25 rpi. Zips move to 35 rpi.
  19. No doubt. Just get in and go to work. And I’m with you, it’s likely the Pitt or Ohio State second round.
  20. Robert Morris beats Oakland 1-0 in Horizon Championship. No changes in RPI but is a potential proximity game for Zips.
  21. Any losses by teams above the Zips to teams with high rpi could bump them into the thirties and could muddy up those last 5-8 at large bids. I’m not an expert in this but my best guess is anyone above the Zips can just stay there and no one moves up.
