I totally agree Stank needs to learn the American game. Stank makes some really good passes and guys just can’t finish. But I have noticed he charges about once’s a game. Once he learned how to do a euro step he will be deadly.

This team has a chance to be really good. I love the brother’s size and athleticism. Played the game as good as I think we realistically could. Win the paradise jam next week and I think at large is still in play.

A fun development is that Kent also plays Purdue. Will be interesting to compare

Purdue’s system has a weakness and it’s athleticism. When they lost to a 16 seed with Zach Edey I believe FDU’s Center was 6’7. I think you beat them with athletic pressure and hope you shoot better than them. still a long shot to win. But I like this match up more than Arizona last year.

I was worried about the post Defense when I heard MMK was backing up Lyles in at the 5. He really impressed me. I think MMK can be a solid back up big for about 80% of our games. Only problem I see is we have offense guys and Defense guys. Right now I think there are 4 guys who are both. Tavari, Scott, young, Lyles. the hope is as the season goes on more become both. Or Groce will have to be a wizard with rotation.

The biggest concern for me was hearing that briscoe and barre played a total of 2 minutes. That puts its all on Amani. I love MMK as he is a hustle player. But he is not skilled enough to be our back up big.

I saw on joe lunardi bracketology YSU is a team in the field meaning he thinks they win the horizon league. not a end of the world loss. But it sounds like we struggled on offense, and some of fears of the team came true. Feels like Monday night will set expectations for the rest of season.

I know the system does not favor us as there is a circular loop with the Net system. But we have tough games besides Purdue. Road games: Miami,Ohio,Kent state,Tulane, SB challenge Neutral games: Murray state, Iona, Oregon State, Yale Here is what qualifies as a Q2 win neutral court: RPI 50-100 Road games: RPI 76-135 I could see some of these games play into a Q2 game.

Great article by Zipped up. I totally agree. I think this team is on paper better than last year but the MAC seems to be much better than last season. its going to be tough. Is it just me or does it feel like we have enough good games to get an at large if we win 25 games?

I Saw Nate scored 14 in K-state scrimmage vs Missouri looked like he was the 2nd leading scorer for the wildcats. I am definitely cheering for him this season.
