I don't like the black warm ups either. The players might like them. But, they do a poor job of identifying us as a team. I actually wish we wore gold more often. It's would certainly be more unique.
They wear these at the games? I had no idea. I'm not really agin it, just hadn't seen it before.
Yes, use the search terms "downtown" and "on-campus"...that will keep you busy reading for a few days
There is also the option of overhauling the JAR. If the Zips were to pull off an upset or 2 in the big dance it would surely grease the machinery to some degree like soccer's success did. As would KD getting a BCS job.
Anyone else surprised the players were decked out in black warm-ups? I didn't recognize our team at first. And what's with Nik's Notre Dame sweatshirt...non comprende.
What time is the actual selection show? I'm probably going to try and get a few friends to go down there and watch. I'm guessing that with the team in attendance, that at least the wait staff will be in blue and gold. They couldn't be that bad, could they? Things were done well for the College Cup.
The selection show begins at 6:00. The Zips fans that are there should engage in loud "I BELIEVE" chants from 4:30 to 6:00 and BH should have a replay of the game going on all the TV's.
This is a good thing. All I want to hear now is Akron doesn't stand a chance. Akron doesn't have any playmakers. Only OU can win a ncaa tourney game. Our center is just a beanpole. We were just lucky the ball bounced our way in the MAC. The lower our seed, the more overlooked we will be.
Thanks for the support...glad you could attend. If CSU was in the MAC it would be really nuts. The skirmish was because the Akron celebration huddle accidentally stepped on a Can't player lying on the floor and his teammates took umbrage. But our enforcer AD was right there to keep everything under control.
Careful. Texas Tech & Georgia Tech are in need of head coaches. If KD can pull an upset in the ncaa and get some more notice, they may come looking; he has plenty of career left and no one could begrudge him a move up from the 1-bid mid-major MAC.
That's the great thing about this team...different guys keep stepping up. Zeke tonight and Brett with some clutch shots, Quincy last night, Nitro before that... hopefully we will be taken lightly in round 1.
