I am concerned with his academic issues. Here is a guy that as a senior in High School is so highly sought after that it is fair to assume he would probably be a millionaire four years down the road. That was apparently not enough incentive for him to hit the books. And we all know that teachers try to "help out" highly rated athletes. This shows a lack of judgement and dedication that may not translate well onto the football field. Time will tell. He may be gone in a flash or he may be the next Akron player in the Pro Bowl.

I don't want to throw water onto the fire, but.... Back around 1985 there was a famous case in NYC, the "stun gun" case. A suspected pot dealer was "tortured" by Police from the 106 PCT with a stun gun. It left a mark, a bunch of them went to jail. The dealers name was Mark Davidson. A few years later, they had Greek Fest (a black fraternity get together in the beginning of summer) at Jones Beach on Long Island. Who gets shot at Greek Fest? You got it, good old Mark Davidson. The point being, if there even is one, it is pretty darn uncommon for someone to be shot "accidently" TWICE. Something is up with with guy, and it may be way beyond the powers of a mere mortal to do anything about it.

It is not THE shooting. He was shot TWICE. I sure hope he can keep his "friends" off campus!

And don't you think that locking onto receivers and failing to find throwing lanes has something to do with coaching - of the QB, OL AND receivers?

You won't get good stats with a coach that does not know how to run an offense or protect the QB. And Moore was not here the year before. What's the excuse for that one?

He blames Clayton Moore for the poor season, not iCoach. Give me a break.

He won't take the job because his work here is not done. When he takes the team to the Sweet Sixteen, we will probably say goodbye. Because his only path to a final four and nationwide fame is with a big time program and we all know that. Duquesne is not a path to the final four and he knows it. And when he fails there because they can not recruit A-10 class players to that school, his career will be in a nose dive. KD is a smart man. A sweet 16 is possible with the talent we have, and that makes him a hot commodity.

The only thing is, if the OU coach is worth that much, so is KD.

And they also could have fired him just like the last guy. I think KD has a home in Akron for as long as he wants. He has been a miracle worker for our program.

Doesn't KD have a contract? He would owe UA a ton of money if he just got up and left.

That would suck. We would sink into the same abyss as the football team. And Terry Bowden probably can not coach basketball.

Having read KDs resume in the article, I think that if he were to consider leaving, it would only be for a big time school. He has the credentials to coach at OSU or Indiana or Kentucky or anyplace else if a job opened up. I just doubt he would want to jump into a "losing" program at this point in time.

I don't think McAdams will be a redshirt. He was heavily recruited as a quarterback, and probably could have been a starter in football somewhere in Div I. He is going to want to play his chosen sport, or he could walk.

Zeller was incredible. 20+ points and rebounds. Without him, OU would have won by 20. The shots he didn't block he altered all night, they just kept missing layups. I hope Zeke plays that well next year, he would carry us to the Elite 8.

Meanwhile, this has turned into a great game. I predict that in the last 7 minutes Ohio's shots start to drop and they pull this one out. I know some of you guys hate OU, but a MAC team in the Elite 8 sounds really good to me.

We played horrible at the end of the season. Didn't we lose 4 out of 5 games? All but one (OU) we close, but a loss is a loss. They peaked at the end and deserved what they got.

Lets see what happens. If they make the Final Four, it is all Cooper.
