The other night we got forced out of the paint, and took a lot of three point attempts. Many were good looks, but we could not hit. In the past we were a big time three team, especially in the clutch. This year were are an inside team that can burn you with the three, as long as it is not Nik that is shooting it. So we need to avoid being forced out of our game. Zeke, Tree, Harney, AA, Q are all awesome inside.

If we play our game we will run the table. The ONLY team in the MAC that has beat us is Buffalo, and we get them at home now. Just score in the paint, turn Tree loose to rebound and let Zeke shoot and we will win. BTW, feeding Zeke has become a big part of the offense. He gets the ball inside, they foul, Zeke hits 70% from the line. I like it!

I think he may be talking about this: The ONLY way to go into the tourney is with the NIT in our pocket. But he misreads it. The "tourney" refers to the MAC tourney, and the "ONLY WAY" refers to I WANT TO GO IN AS #1 WITH THE NIT BID IN HAND. He seems to be reading it as meaning that is the only way we get into the NCAA. That is not what I said.

That woukd be hard to do since we only play 16 games.

The next three games our opponents will be playing for position in the tournament. If we clinch, we will be playing for nothing. They are really going to be tough games.

Do we play hard the last two games, trying for the at large we know we can never get OR Do we start Kyle and Luke and CJ and Egner and make sure none of our real players get hurt before the tourney?

They actually have bagels in Akron now? We used to import them from Detroit one day each year. National Bagel Day, on the corner of Buchtel and whatever the frat house was on (next to the Lone Star house, but I don't remember the street names).

This could be shaping up to be a great night. If UB gets their fourth loss, we are in the drivers seat. Win tonight and one more time out of three and we get the NIT bid and #1 seed!

We will win this because: We are scoring at will in the paint. They will not keep hitting jump shots all night. As soon as they cool off the margin will get huge.
